Where Eco meets Excess

‘The Ferrari F80 is for those who believe slowing down wastes perfectly good horsepower.’

Ferrari has unveiled the F80, a successor to the LaFerrari, continuing the legacy of iconic Ferrari supercars like the GTO, F40, F50, and Enzo Ferrari.

Powered by a 3-litre twin-turbo V6 engine, the F80 is inspired by the 499P Le Mans Hypercar.

While this move to a V6 may not go well with V12 enthusiasts, the six-cylinder engine is Ferrari’s most powerful petrol engine.

The petrol engine alone produces 900 hp, but the additional electric motors increase the total output to exceed 1,000 hp.

Claiming a 0-60 mph in 2.15 seconds, with a top speed of over 217 mph.

With a V6 so powerful, even the V12 die-hard fans may start thinking, ‘Maybe less is More.’

The F80 generates 1,000 kg of downforce at 155 mph, aided by an advanced rear wing-diffuser system.

The use of a carbon fibre chassis makes it 100 kg lighter than its predecessor, with a total weight of 1,525 kg.

Production will be limited to 799 units, priced around £3 million each.

Despite the hypercar performance, the F80 features electric turbo technology (e-turbo) for improved responsiveness and everyday usability.

The Ferrari F80 marks a new era, blending cutting-edge hybrid technology with Ferrari’s signature performance.

‘The Ferrari F80: for when you want to combine eco-conscious hybrid tech with a complete disregard for speed limits.’
