📍 ‘It’s not a hypercar with space for luggage. It’s a GT with a PhD in violence.’
A four-seat Koenigsegg? Yes, one seat for you, one for your lawyer, one for your child, and one for your sense of disbelief.
The Gemera isn’t a car. It’s a Scandinavian thunderbolt with ISOFIX.
It does 0–60 in 1.9 seconds with luggage on board.
This isn’t just a practical hypercar. It’s a practical joke on physics.

The Koenigsegg Gemera – Sweden’s Fastest Family Car
◼︎ In 2020, Koenigsegg announced the Gemera — a four-seat hyper-GT for the well-heeled lunatic.
◼︎ Not two seats. Not three. Four. And yes, they all fit adults.
◼︎ It launched with a 3-cylinder ‘Tiny Friendly Giant’ engine, which sounded adorable — but had 600bhp.
◼︎ Add three electric motors, and the total output was 1,700bhp. Sensible, no?
◼︎ Then Christian von Koenigsegg got restless.
◼︎ By 2025, the TFG was binned in favour of a 5.0L twin-turbo V8 from the Jesko.
◼︎ Power rose to 2,300bhp.
◼︎ It’s bolted to a Light Speed Tourbillon Transmission — part gearbox, part witchcraft.
◼︎ 0–60 in 1.9 seconds. Top speed? 250mph. All while carrying four people and their weekend bags.
◼︎ It has ISOFIX mounts, tri-zone climate control, and eight cupholders. Four hot. Four cold.
◼︎ Koenigsegg will only make 300, each costing more than a London pied-à-terre.
◼︎ But unlike a pied-à-terre, the Gemera can do 250mph while playing Spotify in the back seats.
📍 ‘Family-friendly? Only if your family includes Odin, Thor, and a small nuclear reactor.’
