January 15, 2023, was the 110th anniversary of Aston Martin. Aston has planned a year-long festival of the marque’s past, present, and future to celebrate. Additionally, Aston Martin will unveil a limited-edition motor car later this year.
Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford initially formed it.
The company’s full name comes from Martin’s surname and a stretch of road in Hertfordshire used for racing known as the Aston Hillclimb.
The celebration is known as ‘Intensity: 110 Years in the Making’ and will be on display at Silverstone Grand Prix, Goodwood Festival of Speed, and the Concours d’ Elegance in the UK and internationally in important territories like Pebble Beach.
Aston is always close to the news, unfortunately, primarily because of its fiscal malaise. However, since the latter part of 2022, the share price has been recovering significantly.
Despite debt weighing the company down, it has some very significant and professional investors coupled with the brand’s loyal customer base and change of model range; perhaps the shares were undervalued.
As the Aston Martin PR gurus have pointed out, ’10 years and little over 110,000 cars later, the spirit continues. Our 110th year promises to be just as exciting as our first.’
