A Parliamentary Debate

‘It’s not a concours. It’s a Roman opera with pistons and perfume.’

Rome is rolling out the red carpet for Italy’s greatest automotive icons.

From April 24–27, the Anantara Concorso Roma will parade Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Maserati and more through the Eternal City.

It’s all Italian, all style, and possibly the most elegant traffic jam in history.

Expect Le Mans legends, early supercars and enough horsepower to rattle the Colosseum.

• A century in the making:

The Concorso coincides with the 100th anniversary of Rome’s first Concours, held in April 1926—when carburettors were witchcraft, and nobody wore seatbelts.

From 24 to 27 April 2025, the Eternal City will host the Anantara Concorso Roma, a new concours d’elegance celebrating only Italian machinery.

• No Astons. No Porsches.

• It’s pure-blooded Italian thunder.

• Location? The Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Hotel.

Think marble palace meets motorsport madness. Piazza della Repubblica will never be the same.

Expect an immaculate lineup: Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pagani, Maserati, Bugatti.

Yes, that Bugatti still counts—it was born in Italy before going all French and flamboyant.

One confirmed showstopper is the 1963 Ferrari 275 P, twice victorious at Le Mans and more beautiful than most supermodels.

It’s not just cars—there’s Italian cuisine, neoclassical charm, and even rooftop yoga with Technogym (should your back survive the ride over Roman cobblestones).

‘Expect roaring engines, vintage champagne, and more hand gestures than a parliamentary debate.’
