Hold My Champagne

‘The Tourbillon already looked fast. Now it looks like it’s doing Mach 3 while parked.’

Bugatti Tourbillon Équipe Pur Sang: Thoroughbred, Supercharged, Slightly Mad

Bugatti just unveiled the ‘Équipe Pur Sang’ package for the new Tourbillon.

It adds more wings, carbon, cooling, logos, and a rear diffuser that could double as a coffee table.

It’s French, fast, and ferociously over the top.

1,800 horsepower. V16 engine. Directional wheels.

Apparently, a regular Bugatti isn’t bonkers enough anymore.

Full story below…

The Starting Grid:

June 2024: Bugatti announces the Tourbillon — a 1,800 hp, V16-hybrid sledgehammer dressed in velvet.

Journalists faint. Billionaires text their dealers. Clarkson peers over his glasses in disbelief.

Enter the Équipe Pur Sang Package:

Announced in early 2025 for ‘those who require more from their hypercars.’

It adds a front splitter, bespoke rear wing, and directional wheels that reduce turbulence and send 8% more air to the rear radiator.

8-pipe exhaust system. Because four was clearly not enough.

Inside the Madness:

Alcantara everything. Black Poli trim. Carbon fibre bits are arranged with surgical precision.

Embroidered logos on performance seats because heaven forbid someone forget it’s a Bugatti.

The Result:

Only 250 Tourbillons will be built.

The Équipe Pur Sang? A furious nod to Bugatti’s racing past — only now it’s wrapped in leather, carbon and a £4 million price tag.

Thoroughbred? Absolutely. Tameable? Not a chance.

‘In English, ‘Équipe Pur Sang’ means ‘Thoroughbred Team.’ In Bugatti, it means: ‘Hold my champagne and watch this.’
