A Grudge Against Subtlety

‘It’s road legal like a flamethrower is technically a heating appliance.’

Three seats. A thousand horses. A silhouette like a spaceship and a noise like a war.

The Glickenhaus 007S isn’t just road-legal—it’s barely legal.

And it’s coming to Villa d’Este with the subtlety of a sledgehammer to a soufflé.

Ever wanted to drive Le Mans to Waitrose? Well, buckle up.

2021–2023: Racing First, Road Later

• The SCG 007 LMH debuted in the World Endurance Championship.

• Glickenhaus, a cigar-chomping filmmaker-turned-racer, took on Ferrari, Toyota, and Porsche—and got podiums at Sebring and Le Mans.

• The idea was simple: beat the factory teams, then build a version you could drive to the pub.

2023: The Announcement

• Glickenhaus announced the 007S—a street-legal hypercar with the racing soul intact.

• Everyone rolled their eyes. Then, they saw the power figures.

2025: The Street-Legal Spaceship Emerges

• This month, the 007S makes its public debut at Villa d’Este, Italy’s annual catwalk of automotive madness.

• It’s got a KTech-built twin-turbo V8 with 1,000hp and a central driving position, like a McLaren F1 that went rogue.

• Production is limited to 24 cars. One is already being assembled. Probably by wizards.

Coming Soon: Nürburgring or Bust

• Target: a sub-six-minute lap on the Nürburgring.

• On-road tyres. In a car with air-con and number plates.

• As Glickenhaus might put it: ‘Because why not?’

‘It looks like it was designed by an angry wind tunnel and built by a Bond villain with a grudge against subtlety.’
