Golden Ghosts at Le Mans – The 2025 Classic
Every Other Summer, Something Magical Happens
The roads around Le Mans are shut.
The café terraces buzz with Champagne and Camembert.
And then… the ghosts arrive. Bentleys. Bugatti’s. Raging Matras. Screaming Porsche 917s.
All back where they belong: flat-out on the Circuit de la Sarthe.
The Stage Is Set. A month after the 24 Hours, the Le Mans Classic takes over.
Same track, different soundtrack — the echo of past glory. Not just a race. A resurrection.
(Read On…..)
The Classic isn’t just a classic car event. It’s Le Mans.
The same tarmac that made legends of Ickx, Gurney, and McQueen.
But this time it’s E-Types dicing with Dinos, and GT40s howling under the Dunlop bridge.
It smells of oil, wine, and history.
They say ghosts don’t exist — clearly, they haven’t been to Le Mans Classic.
Golden Hour, Golden Cars
You walk the paddock at dusk. A Jaguar D-Type sits there like a sculpture, and a Ferrari 250LM ticks gently as it cools.
It’s less a paddock, more an open-air museum — only louder, faster, and with a greater risk of oil leaks.
The Future Beckons
Starting in 2026, Le Mans Classic will go annual—more oil-stained beauty.
More thunder. More time machines on four wheels.
And thank God for that.
