Don’t mention Crypto.’

A new kid is on the block for the 2024 F1 season; Sauber has named ‘Stake’ their Title Partner for the 2024 and 2025 seasons.

‘Stake’ has been billed as an ‘Entertainment and Lifestyle’ brand.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought ‘Stake’ was more of a ‘Crypto Betting’ platform.

‘Stake’ has a live-streaming platform, ‘Kick’, first spotted on Sauber’s racing cars in the 2023 season.

‘Stake’ is very keen to access the fans and followers of F1, claiming they will bring a completely new spectator demographic to F1, which can only benefit the sport as a whole.

Sauber will be rebranded as Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber for the next two seasons.

Sauber is keen to stress that their association with Audi for 2026 will not be affected.

Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu will continue as the team’s drivers.

Sauber’s F1 team is based in Switzerland.

It is claimed that Crypto sponsorships can bring financial benefits.

Others report they also pose risks and raise environmental concerns, leading to a debate about their association with F1.

During the 2022 season, digital assets were in abundance; a very different picture for the 2023 season.

A significant press release accompanied the details of the ‘Stake’ sponsorship, yet there was absolutely no mention of Crypto.
