‘Leather, V12s, and just enough windscreen to guarantee regret at 200mph.’
The Engler Mosslr happens when you mix an SLR Stirling Moss with wishful thinking and a V12.
It looks incredible, claims to hit 217mph, and hasn’t been built yet.
There’s leather, loud noises, and something called a Time Machine sound system.
But before you sell your yacht, remember—it’s still a sketch on a screen.
The whole saga is below.
Engler Mosslr – The Car That Might Be
- 2009 – Mercedes-Benz builds 75 roofless, windscreen-less SLR Stirling Moss models. Stunning, bonkers, collectable.
- 2019 – Engler emerges with the F.F., a mad motorbike/hypercar hybrid. Bold? Yes. Road legal? No one’s quite sure.
- 2023-24 – They reveal the V12 Concept and Coupe Tail. Still concepts. Still no road car.
- Early 2025 – Enter the Mosslr, a “tribute” to the Stirling Moss SLR, with plans for 75 units.
▪️ Powertrains:
• Base V8: 740 hp, 200mph.
• Performance V8: 986hp, 217+mph. Bonkers.
• Collector’s V12: 838 hp. Not the fastest, but the most theatrical.
▪️ Interior – Leather, tech, and a ‘Time Machine’ sound system. Presumably, that means the bass is heavy enough to warp time.
▪️ Development – CEO Viktor Engler says R&D is complete. The prototype is approximately 6–9 months away, followed by 2–3 cars per month.
▪️ Reality Check – It’s still a prototype. No models exist. Specs are subject to change. Or disappear entirely.
‘All that power, no windscreen, and a name that sounds like a Swedish death metal band.’
