As you may have noticed, the Formula One calendar has slipped into its midsummer slumber.
Since the last race at Silverstone (5–7 July), the paddock has packed away its kitbags and gone awfully quiet — at least on track.
The next race, the Belgian Grand Prix (26–28 July at Spa-Francorchamps), is still a few days away, which gives us a rare opportunity to breathe in the paddock dust and catch up on everything that’s unfolded between the chequered flags.
