As you would expect, the Pagani Imola Roadster has exceptional performance and is very limited in supply.
Powered by a twin-turbo 6.0 litre AMG V12 producing close to 850hp. Accelerating to 60mph in 3 seconds and a top speed of 217mph.
The chassis is constructed from a new composite of carbo-titanium, which adds to the safety and low weight of 1,260 kg.
It is fitted with a huge rear wing and various air intakes, producing a downforce of 600 kg.
Based on the track-only Huayra R, the Imola Roadster, when accelerating, produces a pull force of 2G.
Only eight will be built; the coupé version had only five, both considered exquisite masterpieces and built explicitly for discerning clients.
As to price, Pagani has been reluctant to address that issue. However, the Imola Coupé had a start price of £4.3 million.
Whilst appreciating that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, the jury is still out.
Jeremy Clarkson once said of the Pagani Zonda:
‘It’s like a lion in orange dungarees. Kind of fierce but ridiculous all at the same time.’
