Ferrari and the Bush Telegraph

According to the Bush Telegraph, Ferrari is busily testing what is thought to be the next version of the Ferrari FS90.

For Ferrari to produce an enhanced version, an increase in performance is a reasonable assumption.

The current model uses a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 with three electric motors producing a massive 986 horsepower.

But even with this immense power, it is not the quickest production Ferrari to date; that honour belongs to the Ferrari Enzo, which has a top speed of 218mph compared with the 211mph of the SF90.

However, the fastest 0-60 mph time goes to the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, which set a blistering 2.0-second time at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in July 2021.

This record was achieved in perfect conditions; the party line for the SF90 is 0-60mph in 2.5 seconds, which is still incredibly quick.

If a power increase is possible, then the magical 1,000hp is probable and, typically, the reserves of the Bugatti and Koenigsegg of this world.

Although there has been no official announcement, it is expected to appear later this year and its likely moniker; The Ferrari SF90 SV or Version Speciale.
