The Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta is a true supercar icon. Ferrari will never build a car like the sublime 458 Speciale again.
Fundamentally, Ferrari takes the 458 Spider and treats it to the same track-focussed upgrades that transform the 458 Italia coupé into the 458 Speciale. It then adds an A for Aperta, Italian for open. Performance goes up from the Italia and Spider’s 562bhp to 597bhp.
The mid-mounted V8 retains its 4.5-litre displacement but is 8kg lighter.
The seven-speed dual-clutch transmission is also even faster, with Ferrari claiming upshifts are performed 20% faster and downshifts 44% faster. You’ll also find uprated suspension, a new generation of carbon-ceramic brakes shared with the LaFerrari hypercar, and the latest Michelin Pilot Cup Sport 2s, a unique tread design which is said to increase wet-weather performance drastically.
Almost certainly the only Bianco Fuji Speciale Aperta with sub 100 miles worldwide; and signed by Kimi Räikkönen and Sebastian Vettel.
