Don’t lose your head!

Zenvo Automotive is a Danish supercar manufacturer in Præstø on the Danish island of Zealand and founded by Troels Vollertsen in 2004.

Zenvo has just debuted their new Zenvo Aurora, actually two versions, the Zen Aurora Tar and the Zen Aurora Agil.

The Tar is the ‘comfortable’ one, ideal for road trips; the Agil is best suited to the track.

Developed from the drawing board, the Aurora has a 6.6 litre V12 engine producing 1,268ps at 8,000rpm and capable of revving to 9,800rpm.

The Aurora is capable of 280mph and hits 60 in 2.3 seconds.

As a more track-focused model, the Agil features underbody aerodynamics and a high-level rear wing with an air brake function.

Zenvo called Aurora, by referencing the Northern Lights, Aurora Borealis.

Their strapline, ‘prospective owners will likely see stars upon their first encounter with the throttle.’

However, after a bit of digging, I rooted out a legend.

‘It is dangerous to tease the lights by waving, whistling, or singing under them, as this would alert them to your presence.’

The belief was that if you caught their attention, the lights could reach down and carry you up into the sky – or even slice off your head. Wow!

I suggest to Mr Vollertsen that his cars should carry a Health Warning.
