Dante’s Inferno

25 February 2022

In recent years The world has seen several Mexican supercars, including the Mastretta MXT and the Vuhl 05. Still, none have truly captured the imagination of the global automotive community. But thanks to a company called Inferno (after Dante’s Divine Comedy Poem).

Possessing 1,400 horsepower and capable of going from zero to 62 mph in less than 2.7 seconds, the Inferno Exotic Car represents a real challenge to famous hypercar brands including Koenigsegg, McLaren, and Pagani. With a top speed of 245 mph and a weight of less than 2,646 pounds

The most groundbreaking aspect is the patented ‘Metal Foam’ skin. An alloy of zinc, aluminium, and silver helps reduce weight and features hyper-plasticity, with the ability to stretch 100 times its length without losing its inherent properties. Essentially you get armoured-car strength in a Mini Cooper–weight vehicle.

This material improves safety and absorbs a large amount of energy in an impact.

The latest information:

Mexico and Italy have teamed up to develop the car further; it can reach 60 mph in just 2.1 seconds. This version, launched in late 2021, has a 1330hp bi-turbo V8 engine.

Inferno Exotic car became famous for its appearance in Asphalt 9 video game: Legends. Hundreds of exotic car fans have been eagerly looking forward to the actual release of this model made of foam metal.

The price of the Inferno Exotic Car is approximately £1.91 million.
