The stunning Pagani Huayra Codalunga (in Italian, it means long-tail) is improved with styling inspired by the Golden Age of sportscar racing.

From the first glimpse, you know just what the Pagani Grandi Complicazioni Department was trying to achieve with the Codalunga. If you were to take it and place it on the grid of the 1960s or even 1970s Le Mans grid, it would look at home.

According to Horatio Pagani, the Pagani Huayra Codalunga results from a complex pursuit of simple ideas.

The work ‘to take away rather than add resulted in a record weight of just 2,822 lb.

The Codalunga is the latest bespoke creation from Pagani Automobili, a limited edition of just five vehicles produced in close collaboration with retail clients. Approved for road use worldwide, the price of this new hypercar starts from £6 million.

Horatio Pagani believes ‘A client is not someone who only buys from you once. A real client comes back again and again’; involving clients in the way Pagani does ensure the ever-evolving loyal Pagani family.

The 840 horsepower is produced from a highly-tuned AMG sourced V12 engine, the lightweight titanium exhaust (10 pounds), the carbon monocoque design, plus a plethora of ingenious weight-saving ideas, the 2,822 pounds mated to an incredible powerhouse produces a dazzling power-to-weight ratio.

In line with the Pagani philosophy, the Huayra Codalunga was designed down to the smallest detail in accordance with ‘the creative principles of the great Leonardo da Vinci’, an inexhaustible source of inspiration.
