Newton’s Law of Motion

26 May 2023

It was recently announced that the Rimac Nevera set 23 records in one day.

It clocked a 0-60 mph time of 1.74 seconds and equally impressively 0-249-0 in 29.94 seconds.

Last year the Pininfarina Batista hit 0-60 in 1.79 seconds.

Now call me easily impressed, but those performance figures are nothing short of staggering; not surprisingly, performance and status come at a price of £1.74 million.

However, Elon Musk is not in the least impressed; at his recent shareholders’ meeting, when notified of Mr Rimac’s latest achievements, he scoffed and used the LOL acronym.

To be fair to Mr Musk, it could be a match for the Nevera if and when his Tesla Roadster arrives.

But questioning the law of physics in a Tesla isn’t quite the same as impressing Mr Newton in a Rimac.
