Lamborghini Sterrato

04 March 2022

It looks like the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato Is Happening. It is going from concept to production, a rally-inspired Supercar, whatever next?

The car captures all of the sleek dimensions of a regular Huracán. Fitted out in rally guise, that hasn’t happened since the behemoth, the Lamborghini LM002, built between 1986 and 1993. The Sterrato loosely means unskirted gravel road is 43mm ‘lifted’ over the standard car and fitted with a LED light bar mounted to the centre of the bonnet, unique roof rails, a skid plate and airflow roof snorkel.

Lamborghini has gently hinted at this car many times but never revealed important details like power or off-road technology.

CEO Stephan Winkelmann has hinted that it could be one of the four cars to arrive this year. He told Autocar that they ‘have a great opportunity to do something special in the super-sports car business never seen before.’

If not, one of the ‘special four’  it could be one of the marque’s extremely limited offerings such as the Sian, Countach, Aventador Miura and Reventon?

For now, we will have to wait until Mr Winkleman decides to whet our appetites even further.
