Tushek, a Slovenian company founded by Aljoša Tušhek, a Slovenian racing legend, established the company in 2008.
Their ethos was to build the perfect driver’s car using a low-weight vehicle, capitalising on the power-to-weight ratio.
Tushek’s current model line-up includes the TS 900 Apex and the TS 900 Racer Pro.
Tushek has now unveiled the Aeon.
According to Tushek, ‘We are pleased to present AEON, an innovative model that will shake up the world of superfast cars. The main reason we created Aeon is because we don’t just want to compete; we want to dominate.’
Two versions of the Tushek Aeon, the Aeon H, a V8 Plug-in Hybrid 4WD producing 1,930 hp and weighing in at 1480 kg with a power-to-weight ratio of 1.3:1.
The second, the Aeon E, is all-electric and produces 2,500 hp, weighing 1,600 kg and a power-to-weight ratio of 1.7:1.
This massive 2,500-hp output will make the Aeon E the world’s most powerful production car.
That current accolade held by the Lotus Evija produces a mere 2,011 hp.
The previous model from the House of Tushek was the 937 hp TS900 in 2019, capable of 0-62mph in 2.7 seconds; what will 2,500 hp be capable of?
This development and obsession with the power-to-weight ratio emanate from Mr Tušhek’s participation in car racing.
